Donald L. Pierce

Overview

Mr. Pierce, a nationally recognized retail chain executive and leader in value-based management, heads of ValueScope’s Management Consulting practice. Mr. Pierce is responsible for managing the strategic planning, performance improvement, and merger integration sectors of the practice.

Mr. Pierce was president and CEO of Triarc Restaurant Group, owner of Arby’s and T.J. Cinnamons, where he pioneered a co-branding strategy that became the recognized industry standard for increasing value through leveraging brand awareness and fixed facility costs. As president of two PepsiCo divisions, including Kentucky Fried Chicken International, he achieved double-digit growth rates through joint venture strategies in Asia and Europe. As president of Denny’s Inc., he participated in one of the first successful LBOs of an NYSE company. Mr. Pierce was president and CEO of Allied Cash Advance (ACA Financial, LLC), one of the nation’s largest payday lenders. He also held a variety of financial and operations management positions with American Hospital Supply Corporation.
