Erin Shoupp

Overview

Ms. Shoupp provides comprehensive business development services for ValueScope, helping the firm further expand its growing portfolio of regional and national clients. Ms. Shoupp has a wealth of experience within the business community, including finance, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and business development positions.

Previously with the transaction advisory group of Prudential-Bache Capital Funding and Ameritech Development Corporation, she developed strategic revenue expansion and diversification plans in telecom-related and emerging industries and analyzed and developed strategic opportunities for joint ventures. Her business development experience extends from marketing and network leadership aimed at increasing market share to building and maintaining professional advisory and C-level relationships with executives across a myriad of industries.

Ms. Shoupp also has substantial leadership experience in both public office and non-profit management. She was elected to the Carroll Board of Education in May 2003 and has served as Board President since 2005. She was re-elected to three-year terms by CISD voters in 2006 and in 2009. While on the Board, she has served as the Chair of the Bond Advisory Committee, the Chair of the District Budget and Finance Committee, the Vice Chair of the Joint Utilization Committee, and has served on the Audit Committee. She is also the founder and former Chair of the Robin Hood Coalition, a legislative lobbying and community education group targeted at increasing the awareness of school funding formula implications for taxpayers and legislators.

Ms. Shoupp holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, where she served as the Chairperson for the Graduate Business Women’s Network, and a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
